ABOUT US

Active Fire Services was founded in 2016 as a division of Global Learning Services and Pro-safe Health and Safety Consulting.

With over twenty years’ experience amongst our staff members, our highly experienced and qualified SAQCC Fire 1475 registered fire technician/s and administration, offer friendly and efficient dedication, affordable, professional and excellent quality of workmanship to suit your every need within the fire protection sector, whether it be sales, installation, servicing or maintenance.

You cannot be lenient when it comes to the safety of your business of staff, as we all know, claiming from insurance companies is not the easiest task to carry out as they have also become extremely brutal and hard, investigating all avenues of the incident. If the insurance company checks on the health and safety system and fire registers or records and find that you do not comply, they will more than likely discard your claim.

Don’t be a statistic. Don’t let the Fire Department do a spot check on your company or vehicles and find that you do not comply with the SANS 10400 standards and regulations of Health and Safety Act.

SALES/SERVICES

We offer the following services within and surrounding KZN areas:

Sales - Sales of fire fighting equipment:

E.g. Fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, fire boosters, fire detection, fire sprinklers, fire systems and CCTV and Access Control.

Servicing - Servicing of fire fighting equipment:

E.g. Fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, fire boosters, fire detection, fire sprinklers, fire systems and CCTV and Access Control.

Spares or Accessories:

E.g. Fire retardant paint, fire blankets, super sounds, fire buckets, protective clothing / PPE’s, signage, cabinets, key boxes, CP valve boxes, red lam bolts, smoke detectors, emergency backup lights, fire extinguisher brackets, fire extinguisher and fire hose reels spares (if available), PVC covers, lay flat hoses and branches, recharging of fire extinguishers and first aid boxes.

Procedures and Registers:

E.g. Evacuation plans, health and safety registers, fire registers and numbering of fire fighting equipment.

Training and Health and Safety consulting and auditing:

Branches in Pietermaritzburg, Howick, Pinetown, Klerksdorp, Johannesburg and Cape Town

Training:

Accredited courses, skills programs including First Aid, Firefighting, Health and Safety Rep, HIRA, Root Cause analysis e.g. Forklift, crane Earthmoving, working at heights, scaffolding ,etc.

Consulting and auditing:

Assistance to develop implement and maintain a tailored safety management system based on the requirements of the OHS act. Other services offered include risk assessments, legal compliance, auditing.
